"Saved us when we were starving. Exited the City of Rocks the wrong way, and the only cafe (according to google maps) in town was closed. Right across the street from that cafe was the blood-sugar-saving-food we needed. Selection wasn't bad for a small store in a small town. Nice people"

"Clarks is more than a store, they are in institution! Not sure what would happen to Oakley without them. The same family has owned this store since 1924, nearly 100 years! Great service, museum like inside, wonderful people. If I'm in Oakley, my trip is not complete without a visit to Clarks, a chat with the owner and employees, and their pizza!"

"Love this old store and the history of it and the family. They also have a little secret. There sausage that they make in house. Delicious. We come to Oakley a few times a year and stock up every time. In fact I have an order of sausage to pick up tomorrow."

"You have to stop here if you are going through Oakley and get yourself a Slush Puppie. The owners are great and the old town Main Street vibe is for real. They also do mixed bags of all the tootsie roll flavors so go get you some. Walk around the town afterwards and enjoy."

"This store is a landmark! It helps that the owners are nice and they have a good selection of products, especially meats. I just ate one of their rotisserie chickens and it was perfect. You can also pay your Idaho Power bill there, too."
