"They give quite literally the worst haircuts here. The experience is fun for kids but this is the third and last time we’ve tried them and it looks like the cut my daughters hair with a weed whacker. I would understand if she was moving the whole time but she held perfectly still."
"Randi was so great with my 6 year old son and my 3 year old daughter! She was so helpful with the cut and styling and she was so patient. You get so much for your money too. It was my daughter’s first haircut and I got the package, which comes with so much! I’ve been here a few times for my son but they pamper for the first haircut package and I love them so much. I’ll never go anywhere else for my kids cuts."
"This was such a FUN experience!! My daughter and son LOVED IT!! My daughter has been to our family hairstylist a few times.... But we would always leave with my daughters hair looking just okay.... And my son went once and hated it. So we decided to give Sharkey's a try. Best decision!! The staff was amazing & the stylists are so patient and talented. Richie was a little unsure at first but when he saw that he got to sit in the fire engine and watch Trash Truck (his favorite) he was sold. And then Bailey was over the moon to get to have her hair washed, get a "big girl hair cut," get it styled with clips & glitter & then get her nails done. You might just be giving them hair cuts but what you're really selling to these kids is confidence to last time and time again."
"I have three kids all 5 and under. Since the oldest kids’ first haircuts, I have been going to another kids’ salon. Sharkey’s was much better than any competitors and we will be coming here from now on. They offer a true salon experience for kids. My daughters got their hair shampooed, cut, dried, styled as well as their nails painted and a play ring. They loved it! My son had the same services minus the nail painting and ring. The price was comparable to other salons- $23 for girls and $20 for boys. My husband even got his hair cut! They have movies and Xbox games to experience while getting your hair done. The employees were very friendly and good with the kids. The owner was onsite to answer any questions. It was an incredible experience and I highly recommend visiting!"
