"Stopped here for a shower during a reset in. I was in shower #2. The shower was Luke warm at best....I couldn't even keep myself warm under the water. The water pressure is a joke, to say the least. I've had better water pressure for a garden hose. I'll go to the Loves down the road in Katy from now on."

"Use to be a decent TA to stop at a year ago. Since then things have went downhill. Laundry room is very dirty and smells of mold. I now understand why many complain about the bad smelling shower towels after seeing they use the same dirty washers that's available to the public. Drivers lounge was a disaster with empty boxes thrown in it. The men's room was mess every time I went in during my 2 days here. The people working at Carl's JR actually decided to close early just because. Now onto the reserved truck parking. Every other TA/Petro has the ground painted and/or a movable pylon to show what spots are reserved. Not here...they just randomly decided to make a bunch of non marked spots reserved. Only indication was the porter knocking on my door and showing me a reserved sign on a light pole 3 spots down behind all the trucks. When I questioned the porter he was nice and admitted it seemed sketchy at best. The lady working the fuel desk had no answer besides "I do what I'm told". Don't get me wrong, I totally understand why there's paid parking and even use it a couple times a month. But for a place to claim a spot is paid parking with no markings or pylons like every other TA/Petro does seems like a huge money grab by the store management. At the very least they could put the money to use by cleaning the place back up."

"Absolutely disgusting shower, toilet is leaking, it surely haven't been cleaned in forever, the toilet seems haunted and keeps flooding in its own, the sink is nasty with scum in it, if someone actually tried to clean it, it will look clean. Just the nastiest TA shower I've been in. The boy that is cleaning out looks like 14 and the lady looks 80. I think they need a retrain or a rehire!!!! I didn't even shower here, it was that disgusting."

"I had shower #3. This is quite likely the most disgusting, unsanitary, unsafe and unusable shower I have ever been in, in the 15 years that I have been out here. The sink had hair all over it and the faucet/handle was dirty from other people's spat toothpaste, trash can was not emptied, floor was covered in hair, shower floor covered in hair, toothpaste/soap marks all over a dirty non-replaced shower curtain and also on the bench we are supposed to set our things on. The walls were dirty. There's mold growing in the cracks/edges of the shower. There was no wash cloth provided, not that I would trust it's cleanliness anyway. The fan didn't work, the water would not get hot, only mildly warm, and the shower head was broken, making half of the water run down the wall instead, so water pressure was lacking too. I almost didn't take the shower, but instead cleaned what I could of things before I used them like the sink, and tried not to touch ANYTHING that was absolutely not necessary to. And the automatic toilet sensor kept going off and flushing the toilet anytime there was movement anywhere slightly in front of it and at a distance. I don't usually see automatic ones in the showers. This shower should be shut down until it is addressed. I hope the others aren't in the same condition but I wouldn't have my hopes up. Shower workers are not maintaining these showers. $16 for a shower without a credit, and still a complete waste of a credit if used too. I felt dirty AFTER my shower. This was on 10/22 at about 15:00."

"Stopped to get a shower. Toilet was dirty with urine and sprinkles of excrement on it, sink was dirty, shower medium clean, but it has a shower head that needs to be cleaned or replaced. There’s a lack of hooks or place to put your stuff and I won’t recommend placing on the floor because it is also dirty. A decent hotel room by sharaton , Marriott or Hilton, goes for $70 which gets you a bed, television, very clean restroom, swimming pool, and breakfast. For $16 and only minutes of usage, I say it would be fair to get a clean shower room with nice smelling clean towels."
