"Update: Malik, service manager at Kia South Jordan, went above and beyond to make this right and acknowledged that my original appointment was not up to standard Scheduled a diagnostic appointment for my 2017 Kia Rio with 76k miles, issue being rod knock. Was promised that in addition to the diagnosis, I would get recall work done (anti-theft update & trunk latch), as well as get my car washed as a courtesy. Was told I'd get a call in the afternoon when the car was ready for pickup. Finally get a call 20 minutes before closing, telling me that the car needs a brand new engine and that the engine knock was coming from the passenger side of the hood. Also that my car wouldn't be covered under warranty because the 10-year, 100k mi powertrain warranty only applies to original owners. Come pick the car up and there's all but two lines of text with my "diagnosis.” All it says is where the noice is coming from, which I already knew and explained when making my appointment. Recalls not performed. When I asked why, Sanel simply said “we usually don’t perform the recall work until the diagnosis-related work is done.” So I need to buy a brand new engine to have the security software updated?! Paperwork also falsely claimed that I was given a quote for the engine labor, which I never was. Whole time felt like I was being brushed off because my car was less fancy than the other ones they sell. Also, no car wash! Just lies on the paperwork saying I refused service. I paid over $200 for this! Seriously?!"

"Helpful and patient front staff. They worked through all my questions and the few potential issues that may have come up. When I got my car back, it wasn't washed. Which was a little annoying but it could be worse. Get driving down the road and the sensor/notification system stating that the oil was changed was not reset in the car. Had to go back and have them reset it. I was assured it was. Only to have it pop up again a few days later. This worries me that either they don't know how to reset it or they didn't do the work. Overall it was a good visit just questioned the ending."

"We had our car under warranty and scheduled and came to know they didn’t have it on the schedule and Had the worst customer service ever, one of the guys didn’t care to much to help us at all and basically told us here is your keys can’t do your car today and come back again and costed $1700 to do a service. We drove 2 1/2 hrs to get there and now have to drive 2 1/2 hrs back. We are really really disappointed for sure!"
