"Dominic aka Garage 88 is the dishonest mechanic you've been told to look out for. We had a fuel pump problem that he serviced. The fix lasted less than a week. He towed the car back to fix the issue under warranty, but then forgot about us completely, even though the car was parked right in front of his shop. Only an in person visit reminded him that we existed at all. He apologized and said he'd get right to it. After that point he disappeared and ghosted me for literally months. He would not respond to phone, email, text or answer the door at his shop. He wouldn't even face me to explain what was going on. Enough was enough, so we had the car towed to Autobahn, which did a fantastic job, replaced the bad fuel pump and had it back to us in a day. We had to pay again for what Dominic was contractually obliged to fix. Autobahn did what he either couldn't or wouldn't. At this point I'll need to seek redress for the money that he owes me."
