"Been going here for a few years and he’s always been great. This last time I went with my car making a very obvious not-normal sound (even my 4 year old could tell it wasn’t right), and he had me pick it up a day later and told me it was the “rubber on the tires hardening.” They were practically brand new tires, and I told him that I did some research and thought it might be wheel bearings. He persisted and said, “you’re totally fine to drive it, it just the tire sounds.” I even called him a day or two later and asked him to explain further what he meant by it, and he persisted that it was the tires. I took it to our old mechanic (Dee’s in South Salt Lake) who we’ve trusted forever but we moved far away enough that we thought we’d try someone closer. Dee immediately confirmed that it sounded like wheel bearings just from my description and re-confirmed that it was very obviously the bearings when he looked at it himself. Dee told us that if we hadn’t addressed it, it could have been a serious safety concern. I don’t know why Autosavers would miss such an obvious issue and tell me a loud vibrating sound is perfectly normal, but he has lost our business forever. I do not recommend him as he is obviously not trustworthy in his skill as a mechanic. Going back through the reviews of the past 10 years you can see a very obvious trend of racism and sexism. Only thing that has changed from when he was reliable for us to now is my haircut, which must not be conservative enough for him. Unless you are a white conservative male, do not go here. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a member of the Proud Boys."

"These guys are great and always get my car back in great shape. Went in for spark plugs and had another issue come up, they still got it fixed within a few hours and now my car is running smooth again. Very friendly and honest with great prices. I will go here every time!"

"The very best in the business. If you have gone anywhere else you are missing out. These guys are old school, you get what you ask for, need diagnosis they’ll get it right without spit balling a million other things. You need brakes done, no question asked no up sales just honestly. Larry was extremely knowledgeable and helped reiterate things in a way that made sense. He showed me where the issue was and had it fixed in no time flat. I paid exactly what I was told and was on the road again in just a few hours. I’ve gone many places in the past and have always left them feeling worried I was wasting my money (which I have due to cheap franchise locations I trusted because of the national name that hire kids with no experience other than an sae and drivers ed.) Save yourself money. Safe yourself time. And whatever you do don’t take it to a shop without knowledge. I’ll never do it again, not oil changes, not brake inspections none of it. I will never have to worry about my car being mistreated or misdiagnosed because of a lack luster mechanic. These guys are the real deal they are technicians and they know how to accurately assess issues. I’ve said it before in person but want to make sure his bosses know, Larry the gentleman who helped me the last few days is amazing he is the only person outside of the dealer that will ever work on my car again. Thank you so much Larry for giving me the peace of mind and informing me of upcoming things I’ll need to keep an eye out for. You may not even realize it but you are my hero this week."

"I've taken my car here multiple times and the work is always done quickly and well. Most recently I took my car in to get the a.c. fixed. There was several problems that needed work but they gave me the option to start with the basics and see if that would ease the load on my compressor instead of making me replace it right out the gate. A.c. works wonderfully and I'm ready for summer. The owner is also very kind and will have a chat with you. Only place I take my car."

"Honest review. The person in the front office (I think the owner) doesn't have great customer service skills BUT these guys are the best and most honest mechanics I've found in my 5+ years in the area. My old mechanic (Jake's Auto and Truck in Draper) told me my computer was broken and that it'd be ~$1,600 to replace and reprogram the computer. Got a second opinion from a neighbor and they replaced something that didn't fix the issue ($380 down the drain). I took it to Auto Savers and he told me he was 99% sure it was not the computer and was more likely a pinched wire. He said it would cost ~$180 to diagnose. I'd already paid for two diagnoses now so I was worried but decided to try one more time and have him look at it. It WAS a pinched wire like he thought from the beginning and I think I was out $189 to get it fixed. I subsequently took my Jeep to him for an AC issue and it was again a broken ground wire which they fixed for just a little more than the diagnosis. Yes, he may come across as a little stiff or maybe even a little sexist (my wife's words when she brought our Camry in), but I would not want to work with any other person. I trust Auto Savers to give good and honest service. - 7/23/2022"
