"This is my car's version of a general practitioner. For the vast majority of everyday repairs, they do a great job. They don't do everything (ex, you can't get an alignment here) but I feel like they are honest and won't try and talk you into jobs that don't really need to be done. To me, that's probably the most important thing in a mechanic. I have had other mechanics tell me that my car needs this or that and then I have brought it here for a second opinion and they have told me, "yeah you could do that, but you probably don't need to because ____." I have yet to regret not doing that "repair". If I need a complicated repair or more specialized service, I still have to go to a bigger (and often more expensive) place, but for everything else, this is a good shop."

"On the way home from a trip to Yellowstone Park my wife and I found ourselves stranded in Salt Lake City due to a problem with our car. Since we are both on prescribed medication and had limited amounts with us, we had to get the repairs performed quickly. Local dealerships were unable to get us in for weeks, but fortunately someone recommended the Murray Car Care Center. The manager, Kalvin Cottom, recognising the seriousness of our situation, said he would take our car in right away and do the repairs needed to get us on our way as quickly as possible. Kelvin quickly determined what was needed, but was unable to locate one of the parts in the area, and had to have it shipped overnight from Arizona. He then arraigned to have us stay have us stay in a nearby motel and had an employee take us there and pick us up when the repairs were completed. I would highly recommend the Murray Car Care Center to anyone in need of a very skilled technician who will go out of his way to meet your needs at a very fair price."

The pricing was fair and done in a timely manner. They've also been so helpful with diagnostic issues. They have always been so helpful and are happy to answer questions and give advice.
