Studio 48 Dance Cheer & Tumbling

"I would STRONGLY advise not going to this dance studio. Also, truly read EVERY WORD of the eight page contract! They will charge you two weeks AFTER you cancel! Even the owner admitted that this was a "morally gray" area (translation: he knows that this is highly unethical). He then kept trying to 'mansplain' his unethical behaviors. I will tell all my other mom friends to go anywhere but here. This is the worst dance studio I have ever dealt with."

"My daughter has danced or tumbled for five years at Studio 48. They give a special award to the student when it is their 5th year. When we first started a family member signed our daughter up so she was under their account. Because of this it did not register that she had been there for five years. In the middle of the Tumbling Review at the end of the year, I brought it to there attention and they stopped everything that they were doing and figured it out. Then they were able to find the things that they needed to give my daughter her award at the end of the Review. To some people this might not be a big deal but to my daughter it meant the world. I was so impressed that on a busy night they didn't just turn me away and tell me that they would figure it out later. They did everything they could to solve the problem right then and there. Thank you so much for caring about my daughter. On a side note my daughter absolutely loves her tumbling teacher and is so excited to be in her class again this year."

"Awesome studio. My daughter danced there for 8 years and we could always count on Studio 48 for awesome teachers, great training and a positive and uplifting community environment. As a parent I appreciated how organized the office is and how well they communicated with the parents. We are moving and will greatly miss being part of Studio 48."

It really makes it personal when we’re out just at a store and my girls see their dance teachers and the teachers actually are excited to see my girls too! You know these instructors love their class as much as the kids love them."

"I am not one to make reviews, but I had to after reading some of the comments on Google review. It surprises me how some people think that if they don't pay their bill that the owners should write it off and forgive the debt! They are running a business, and yes they want to make money (that’s what you do. Why start a business to come out even or lose?) My children were NEVER made to feel like a number. I have had 5 kids that have attended, and they all loved the teachers, and the positive experience. The office and studio is always clean. I would receive a monthly news letter that kept you informed of what was going on for the month as well as in the future months. You could review your bill online and even pay online. They are so well organized at parades in the summer, to recitals and photos. They tell you all the cost up front, so if you can’t afford it don’t put your child in. Costumes are expensive no matter what studio you use. I have used Studio 48 ever since they moved into Kents plaza. I too have dealt with “the guy” Jake has been easy to work with. I have had questions about things and I have gone in and spoken with him and he has explained things to me so I would understand, and he was never rude about it. We have used another studio before them and tuition, and costume fees are similar, but what is not similar is that Studio 48 is so well organized. Don’t let the negative comments of a disgruntle customer scare you or stop you from using Studio 48 they really do run an amazing business!"
