A Gentle Vet

"I’ve never had to write a review like this, but I really feel I need to warn everyone not to take your pets here. We have now had 2 pets pass away due to the lack of help and poor doctors. If you have an emergency your pet will not get help here. We will NEVER bring our pets here, ever again! The person that answers the phone, Erin, who is Dr. Olson’s wife, has no experience with vet work and is the rudest person I have ever spoken to. She interrupts you and will not listen to what you need. She has lied to us numerous times that someone will help us but that never happened, and we had a pet die because of her lack of service. If you look at the responses to other reviews, she really thanks the good ones and then blames the customer on all the poor ones. She does not take ownership for them ever doing anything wrong. Why on the poor reviews does she keep mentioning video and phone recordings? Are the customers being watched and recorded from the moment they call or walk in?! We had a pet pass away right after a simple procedure and it should NOT have happened. This is due to the vet, Dr. Eric Olson. We had another pass away because Erin Olson would not get us the help we needed right away, or it could have been saved. We have made appointments and just sat there waiting to be taken care of while they take care of an emergency, yet they won’t help us when needed. Then when we finally see the vet, we are rushed through, and things are missed. I believe it’s Erin who is causing a majority of the problems with getting help and then over scheduling. Dr. Olson should not be practicing if he can’t do a simple procedure and the pet live afterwards. We have found a great vet to go to now, that can get us in right away if needed."

"I have been bringing my dogs to A Gentle Vet for over two years and I've had a great experience every time! The doctors and all the techs are amazing and so kind. Shout out to Tristen, she is so knowledgable and truly cares about our pets. It would have been so simple to brush off my dogs symptoms or assume it wasn't anything serious, but she suggested testing just in case and it came back positive. We are able to give him the medication he needs to get him back to normal. Thanks Tristen, you're the best!"

"We just moved and needed a vet for our dogs that was in the area. I read some Google reviews on a few places in the area, and A Gentle Vet had hundreds of positive reviews, and for good reason! I called and made an appointment for vaccines and a wellness check and was able to get in within a couple of weeks. The staff was super friendly and quick to get us checked in and into a room when we arrived for our appointment. The vet was amazing! She went over all the concerns I had brought up and laid out all my options with a lot of detail and recommendations. She got me estimates on everything we discussed, and the pricing was reasonable. I appreciated that there was no pressure to do anything and that I was able to make the call on exactly what I wanted and was able to do. They really care about the animals. I am really satisfied and glad to have found a vet in the area that I feel comfortable going to."

"Dr Olsen is amazing and so personable. He truly understands our worries for our animals. They have taken great care of our pets and when we had 2 unexpectedly pass they were sending out condolences cards with distinct messages about them. They take that time to get to know you and your pets, explain your options clearly, and always give you quotes for decisions. I feel 100% comfortable going there and am very grateful for everyone here."

"A Gentle Vet was recommended to me by my dog trainer and I can see why! I had the best experience at A Gentle Vet! Everyone that I talked to on the phone was friendly and pleasant. My dog can be reactive towards other dogs and they allowed her the space she needed so that our visit could be calm and stress free. Dr. Vetter was very kind and respectful. They're up front with fees, don't push anything on you, and the environment is so welcoming. I waited months for them to accept new clients again and am so grateful we are now part of their fur family!"
