"This place needs some customer service work. My 11 yr old daughter and I were in looking to buy some Christmas gifts. The two employees were talking about the sales goal for the day and how they are supposed to try to up sell. The store was not very busy and my daughter needed to use the restroom. I looked, and they have a men’s & ladies restroom and a drinking fountain between them. The door to the ladies room was locked, so I asked if we needed a key to use the restroom. The person that seemed to be the manager on shift said, “the restrooms aren’t open to the public,” in a rather rude tone. I asked if she was serious, because these restrooms are NOT hidden away from the public in any way. I told the employee that I guess I no longer needed to buy any gifts from Hot Topic today. I would have understood if the restrooms were in the back behind an “employee only” area. Hell, even if they had a black curtain over the restroom area I wouldn’t have even looked behind it to see them."
