Turning Point Centers - Kaysville Outpatient Treatment

"Had everything set up to start treatment here and even discussed accommodations for the stairs for my daughter as she is in a wheelchair. We just had to wait for a spot to open up. Three weeks later a guy called to say they cannot accommodate my daughter due to her disability. I asked why it took them 3 weeks to let me know (I could have been arranging another place) but he just said, "I don't know." Heather literally told us on our tour on December 18th that it was no problem to accommodate but on January 9th another person called to notify us "Heather says we can't accommodate for her disability." Personally, I think it sounds like discrimination to NOT provide services based on a disability. For a treatment center designed to treat unique needs of patients, it seems ironic they cannot accommodate for a physical disability. I would be hesitant to utilize their services given their lack of ability to make this really simple adjustment."
