"This place is a nightmare! Got here right when the urgent care opened. One person ahead of me. I have been waiting in the room to be seen for 40 minutes. I checked with the nurse after waiting a 30 minute wait, to see if they forgot about me. She said she would go check and never came back. Still waiting! I will never come here again. I have had to wait before, but they were busy the last time I came here. The nurse was rude when I asked her how much longer it would be. I come here because it is close, but never again. The service is faster at my dogs vet with a waiting room full of animals."

"The intake staff were super nice. The nurse was cordial and professional. The doctor was dismissive and condescending. The WORST part is, this is AN URGENT CARE FACILITY. My Cigna Medicare Advantage plan shows this as an UCF and a preferred provider. I should have been billed a $30 copay. Instead, the University of Utah Billing "Up-Coded" this to a hospital outpatient visit and I was billed a copy of $118. I have attempted to resolve this numerous times and the UofU Billing basically told me to pay or else. I regret attempting to use the UofU medical again. They failed me miserable years ago. And they haven't changed a bit. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. NOT UNIVERSITY OF UTAH HEALTH AT ALL, EITHER!!!"

"I see a lot of bad reviews but my experience on August 23th was very positive. I sliced my hand pretty good on some metal and was in need of stitches. When I arrived I was told the system was down so I was required to do some paperwork to check in (a bit annoying but ok). After finishing the paperwork it only took about 15-20 minutes to see the nurse. There was a team of 3-4 people there to clean the wound, apply anesthesia, stitch up and give me an anti tetanus vaccine. All the staff was very friendly which made me feel calm and well taken care of (first time doing stitches OUCH). This entire process was maybe another 40 minutes max. I literally walked in and 1 hour later I was out. My previous experiences in emergency care has been always waiting AT LEAST 2 hours to see a doctor. I applaud this place for being quick and waste no time. Bravo! EDIT: I’m coming back here after a couple of months to say that the bill came in the mail and it was not cheap. 580$ after bill adjustment (originally ~880$) for 5 stitches and a preventive shot. Yikes. They still did a good job but good lord if you don’t have insurance like me you better start saving up."
