"Please don’t go here. My wife had thyroid cancer and their treatment plan and diagnosis was terrible. We luckily were able to get transferred to huntsman cancer institute instead. They cared more about nickel and diming you with extraneous ultrasounds and extra testing that wasn’t needed instead of helping and treating her. We also got a bill 9 months after the treatment date! When we called to pay it they added all sorts of fees. It’s just nonsense. So glad to be done with this place. Please find any other endocrinologist. It’s just not worth it to go here."

"Absolutely terrible with prescriptions and making sure right info get communicated to pharmacy. It’s always super stressful last minute finding out That they didn’t communicate any changes or refills to my pharmacy, and scrambling to find things out. They won’t answer calls and make me leave a message and never follow up whether when they have closed the gap in communication. I never have insight whether I’m gonna get refills or not."

"Just left the thyroid institute for the first time, I must say these terrible ratings below set me up for low expectations and I was pleasantly surprised how smooth my visit went, dr freize was extremely helpful, and educated me on all things thyroid. Staff was also very friendly I had no issues with them or wait time at all. I left feeling hopeful. I will update review as needed with more upcoming appointments. . Update: 6 weeks later, rarely any communication on results I had to call to get no updates every time, then they lost my blood, I must now go do another blood draw, and wait another (hopefully) only 4 weeks."

"I'm beyond frustrated right now! Dr. Aljammal has been great, but the staff cannot seem to get it together! I went into my appointment today and even though I was the only one in the waiting room I had to wait 30 minutes to be taken back. I was then quickly seen by the doctor and he said he was going to talk to the nurse and she would get back with me. I waited for another 15-20 minutes in the room until I just got fed up with it and walked out into the hall. The nurse was on the phone. Patients who are actively waiting to get answers should be taken before phone calls! I then told her that I specifically needed the name brand sent to the pharmacy because I have a coupon that makes it significantly cheaper. I also took my last pill today because they can't seem to prescribe enough refills for me to even get through to my next appointment! So I went to the pharmacy today and they had filled the generic, go figure. Mind you I can't pick it up tomorrow because tomorrow is a holiday. Then I agree to pay the larger amount because I know I need my meds, only to get it and find out it's not even enough pills to get me through 3 weeks and the amount of refills will get me to a month before my next appointment. If they can't seem to give me enough pills to get to my next appointment and can't follow a simple request about what to send to a pharmacy I think I'll have to find another practice. This back and forth with the pharmacy and office are causing me too much stress!"

"I never post reviews, but I wouldn't recommend strictly because of the staff. I have never had the run around so bad in my entire life. I went in for blood work before my appointment and after waiting in the waiting room for an hour and dealing with a receptionist that clearly doesn't like people, they finally took me to their break room to have blood drawn. There was no where for the nurse to set her stuff down, so I ended up holding it all. I work in a doctors office so I just let it go knowing that some days can get crazy. After a couple days I got a call from the lab asking which Doctor I see because necessary paperwork was not sent. Hours later I received a call from the nurse saying the lab never picked up my blood and I would need a re-draw. I was confused but I agreed. After thinking about it for a while I realized that the lab wouldn't have been able to call me had they not picked up my case. I called them, and they indeed had it and were in the middle of testing and things were originally put on hold because the Dr office wouldn't send them paperwork so they even knew what to test for. If I had immediately listened to the nurse my insurance would have been billed twice and it would have caused an even bigger mess. Anyway, I called the Dr office today to see if results were back and they gave me a story about not being able to reach the lab. Which I'm thinking is weird because I've had no problem contacting them several times. Again, I called the lab and they confirm that my tests have been completed and are in the process of being sent. Long story short, I am having them send the results to me directly so I can find a different Dr. I have had no problems with Dr's that practice here, but if you can't even manage to get blood work done efficiently, then how are you going to even see the Dr."
