I suppose any advisor can do this, but I’ve been able to sit in my advisor’s office and look at multiple what-if scenarios to understand a complete picture of the options and effects of various situations. I always leave his office as a much better educated client. • We’ve set up an annuity for my retirement, based on a detailed understanding of my situation. I can access additional funds on an as-needed basis with a simple phone call. • They provided help signing up for Medicare, which was not as straight forward as it would seem. • They referred me to a source to set up a trust for my children. When I sat down to make a list of things my children should know, the first thought I put down on paper was the name of my advisor. It was completely spontaneous and honest.
