"My husband came into the office for his annual exam and to receive a new prescription for contacts. We received a bill for a “contact fitting” for $50.00, as well as the copay amount. I disputed the $50.00 charge because he did not get a “fitting”. He was just given the contacts when they came in and sent on his way. When I spoke to the office manager she would not allow me to speak telling me that “I just wanted my way”, and told me that I will be sent to collections. I was told that they have plenty of patients and it did not matter if they lost our business. This office is extremely rude and we will never return. We highly suggest not going to this business!!!!"

"My son has been to Mountain Eye Institute twice, both times being an emergency appointment. The first time Dr. Anderson was over in Kanab and my son got something in his eye. The staff worked us right in that day. Dr. Anderson was great. Then again today he got something else in his eye. I called them a little before 5, the receptionist was amazing, she got us in touch with the on-call Dr and my son drove from Kanab to Cedar and Dr. Duncan came in and seen him and got the foreign body out of his eye. I would for sure recommend to anyone. Thank you for being there when we needed you."

"First and last time there. Thought I would try them out and as a new patient they asked me to arrive 20 minutes early. Arrived around 8:40 a.m. for my 9:00 a.m. appointment. At about 9:03 a.m. they called me back to the exam room. Once in the exam room I did the eye chart stuff and the assistant checked the pressure of my eyes. She advised me the doctor would be right in. After sitting for 45 minutes in the exam room with no contact from anyone I walked out. Total time at office about an hour and twenty minutes. It was probably another 15 minutes before they called and asked where I went. The assistant stated they had an emergency come up and that is why it took so long. I can understand that and I would have been more patient if someone actually communicated that to me instead of just leaving me by myself during that time. Will I go back, nope!!!!! Will I refer them to anyone, nope!!!!"

"Had an enjoyable first appointment here. Staff was friendly and helpful. They made the experience for my kid fun and answered all of his many many questions. Wait in the waiting room/lobby was a little long, but that might have just been what time of day it was or that it was our first time there. Once we got in the back, things went quickly. Satisfied with the level of care received."

"M;y experience with Mountain Eye Institute was a wonderful surprise to me because of past experiences with clinics. I found their staff personable yet professional and very courteous. Not in a condescending way either. They remembered my name and preferences from visit to visit. They were so helpful and pleasant. The doctor we had was Dr Duncan. He was also so courteous and personable, and again, not in a condescending way. I will recommend them to others who are in need of this service."
