"UCA is a great online school with excellent teachers and a clear, thorough curriculum that is laid out well for both students and parents as a team. It has been a way for our son to have the support each student should have in school to excel and succeed. I've been very happy with UCA and would highly recommend it!"

"My family chose, and continues to choose UCA for many reasons; While enrolled in UCA, I am able to travel with my family while still completing coursework, I can work at my own pace to ensure my understanding, and teachers are always willing to help and explain anything that I ask about. I have found that I feel much more secure in my education, as I get to compare courses and select the ones that suit me best. I also enjoy that there are many social events that I can choose to participate in and that being enrolled in an online school has not taken away the opportunity to socialize with my peers. There are many clubs and events that have provided fun and socialization according to your hobbies! I have also had, and participated in many more opportunities to take college courses and collect college credits than I ever would have in a brick and mortar school. There are many resources provided by the school and teachers to help with College Preparation tests such as ACT, SAT, and PSAT that are available most, or all hours of the day. Every teacher I've had has been very kind, and very helpful and willing to take the time to help me if I was personally struggling. The courses and clubs provide many opportunities to be involved and practice your preparedness for your future. The school's website also provides a breakdown for the average courses that a student takes, and what credits are required; the counselors and advisory staff are also available and happy to help students and their guardians plan for the future."

"Well, I'm rarely one to post negatively, however this company does not follow through with what they state their goal is, which is to work with ANYONE to achieve their high school diploma and get ready for being a part of the community. After applying for enrollment, we just spoke with the guidance counselor, Karen (not a joke her actual name), and after we told her about our daughter, she proceeded to list out how much is wrong and missing and what we should've done and how this doesn't seem like a good idea. When we attempted to discuss these things and ask clarifying questions, we got rudely shut down and again, started listing how this wouldn't be a good idea for our daughter, and what we have failed at in pursuing options. Mind you, our daughter is 1.25 credits shy of being 100% on track for graduation. Obviously we cancelled our application, I wanted to post this so everyone at least got a genuinely honest experience, from at least this counselor, however this counselor is supposed to guide people, if it requires effort, don't expect support, expect derision and demeaning attitude."

"UCA has been the best thing for our family. My 6th grader needs some accommodations with school that the regular in person public school was struggling to meet, that being said his education was suffering. Now our first year with UCA his grades are amazing, he will make Honor roll at the end of the year. He is excited about school and with all of the amazing support from all of staff we’re on the road to success. We tried another online school years back and did not like it , I was worried this would be the case however UCA is up and beyond a life saver! To everyone - Thank you from the Verheyden Family!!!!!"

"My daughter has attended UCA since she was in kindergarten. She is now in 6th grade. UCA has been precisely what we needed—a good curriculum, flexibility, and an excellent team of teachers ready, willing, and able to assist us. Every year, our experience at UCA gets better and better. I have enjoyed being involved in my daughter’s education every step of the way. Watching her become an independent learner has been a fantastic experience. We have felt lucky to have such great teachers. At home, in the day-to-day, we, too, have put in the effort and dedication needed to be successful in this instructional setting. I feel the school really stepped up to the task to meet the students’ needs in the classroom and socially in the middle of a very trying time. The national clubs and the school activities really made a difference! The sense of community among the students has been great. The support and encouragement of her UCA teachers have been key in progressing towards being an independent learner and exploring new areas of learning. They have been supportive of my daughter’s goals. The UCA team has truly been a partner in learning—not just in education. Thank you!"
