"West High School is an amazing place, I dont think I would have graduated, much less gone to college, if not for the empathy and endless efforts of the wonderful educators there. Yes, you’ll smell weed occasionally (grow up, Utah! That’s the smell of diversity!). Sure, there might be a bat or two (that one is really weird). But you wont get jumped! And you wont be judged for being yourself and following your passions. Can you say that about your high school? (Lookin at you, Davis!)"
"I love going to school here. I love the teachers and staff. There was no bullying. The students are diverse. My kids go to school here, and I wouldn't change that. Love the programs offered. ROTC has helped my kids with leadership skills, and listening to orders. It also expanded their dreams in life and goals. ELP program is also awesome"
"This is a great school. I'm a sophomore, in my freshman year I went half year to East and the other at Highland. This is the beat highschool I've been to iny opinion. You don't get bullied, its easier to make friends, kids are nice, there is of course a few kids who slack and stuff but really... Its just great, the teachers are willing to stay after school when they don't get paid to help you 1 on 1. This school is diverse, I totally recommend this school if you are not sure. At a scale from 1-10 I give it a 12. GO PANTHERS!!!"
"West high School is the oldest high school in the state. Over 100 years old and counting. It is home of the Panthers wearing the colors of Red and Black. The high school is located in downtown Salt Lake City. Very easy to navigate to by car, bus, and or trams. With a wide range of excellent teachers and degree programs your student is sure to get a great education."
"The BEST High School in the Salt Lake Valley. Enjoyed and loved my time here at West. The faculty and staff are amazing, and you have a lot of clubs and after school activities to join here. Its a very DIVERSE and CULTURAL filled school."
