"We got there when it was not very busy and got a couple minutes to chat with Tony the manager. He got us really excited about the tacos and everything on the menu. Instead of trying to upsell us he focus on what we wanted from the restaurant and we were very satisfied with the food and service! He’s studying marketing and does a fantastic job marketing for Smoked Taco! We came back a week later and were just as impressed! If you ever wonder what to get, Tony has great recommendations and will not disappoint! Our favorite is The Fleeing Californian. The churro fries are delicious, and giant and can be shared!"

"Pretty cool spot. Very trendy interior and the concept is unique: smoked meats in street tacos. The tacos are pretty large so you won’t really need more than one or two especially if you’re getting a side like their queso dip and or a dessert. We got the og and the fleeing Californian. Both really good with their queso dip and their churro fries for dessert. It was too much for both of us to finish so we had to take the dessert to go. Fair portion sizes for the price and the wait time is reasonable for the quality and quantity. We came in a Friday night and the wait wasn’t bad at all."
"Tried for the first time in March 2024. Had an add for 2 free tacos. What can I say - delicious! I will definitely be back. I had the Hawaiian Belly (seasonal - I hope they keep it on the menu) and the Bird. Both tacos were good. The chips needed a little more salt and the music could have been turned down a little but the food was good"
"Interesting new twist on Mexican that satisfies. Good food, interesting and different sauces to accompany the meat in the tacos, and great sides make for a new combination to the Mexican food genre. The Churros Fries were an amazing treat. Their chips with Chips and Guacamole resembled Chili's and were quite thin, breaking and crushing every time that I went in for a scoop of thick and savory guacamole. They also had too many items with candied jalapenos and fiery or hot sauces - of which I am not particularly a fan, but you can customize and ask for these removed. Overall, a great meal and would be something to try again."
