"Dr Couldwell is absolutely amazing. His nurse on the other hand quite possibly could be the worst nurse we have ever had to deal with. RN Heather G. Is rude, lazy and uncaring. We were told to make an appointment with Dr Couldwell to taper off of seizure meds and she refused to make us an appointment because she was not in the right headspace at that time. She constantly refuses appointments to see the doctor and tries to give directions as if she is the doctor herself. Pretty sure she has the mentality that the less she schedules the less work she has to do because she is constantly trying to talk you out of appointments. Hopefully karma gets her one day and someone she's close to has brain surgery and she gets a nurse like herself that does not want to schedule appointments or do any work at all. We are reporting her to the nursing board due to our unprofessionalism. It's really sad because that place has a bunch of amazing doctors and nurses and someone like her just ruins the entire atmosphere. This is not that type of clinic that you go to for a routine checkup The patient's here are having brain surgeries and yet this lady shows no compassion and treats it as she is just working a normal office job. Patient advocacy is one of the most important responsibilities as a nurse and is one of the founding principles and sadly this one has lost her way."

"Being a patient of this clinic has been one of the most difficult experiences. Everything from check-in, physician, pre authorization and overcharging for procedures. And competence of clinicians. I have been in healthcare for over 13 years and never seen a more incompetent clinic. Initially we went here because of a change of insurance, but we may pay cash to go back to our last clinic. And it may still be cheaper, and soo much easier."

"I saw Dr. Karsy today. I have an extensive history of spinal fusions, shunt, and brain surgeries however, my prior neurosurgeon is in the Washington DC metro area. I needed a new neurosurgeon following my move to Salt Lake City and was concerned about finding a doctor that I trusted with my care (I've had 2 other neurosurgeons refuse me because of the complexity of my history). I was able to get an appointment quickly which was unexpected. During check in, Dr. Karsy's nurse came to introduce herself and gave me her card which was an excellent first impression. Dr. Karsy entered the room within only a couple of minutes. He was professional yet very personable. He dedicated enough time to my appointment to discuss my history, review recent test, and create a plan forward. Obviously, I do not know anything about his surgical skills (yet) but I was impressed with him and he provided me with a level the confidence I feared I would not find."

"I want to thank Dr. Couldwell and his staff during my recent visit for surgery to remove a tumor. Not only were they very professional but they really listened to me regarding being put under and how it was done. I would also like to thank all the nurses, CNA's, other medical personnel and housekeeping for being so nice. Not once did I have a grumpy person despite the long hours and the demanding work. I could not have asked for better care."
