"Trashy service. The psychologist never called us and we were rescheduled for November, even though my call log says no one ever called. So, they just didn't call, blamed us, and now my kid has no evaluation for school. He struggles severely, and needed this diagnosis for his student care plan. If you want to help your kid, pick somewhere else. They're nothing but money hungry. Edit: They did eventually get back to us and reschedule a sooner eval, we'll see how the in-person goes."

"It is very unfortunate how this COMPANY, is ran. In training they will emphasize reviewing patient programs 15 mins before a session stating you "should" do this despite those 15 mins not being paid,... see what I am getting at? There are also several policies that do not exist in writing but are kept in the brain of a regional director who is suppose to "just know" these policies and enforce them as they deem best fit... see what I am getting at? They will use vague language when addressing your concerns, if they get addressed at all so as to avoid any form of accountability. They do not offer accommodations, especially to those with any invisible or "not formally" diagnosed disabilities, which is disturbing, considering they work with children who will forever require accommodations. They have a very ableist and ridged idea of "normal" that they will use as a guide and blueprint when creating a program plans for patients. They do not listen to their own autistic employee concerns but pride themselves in parading them for diversity points. I love ABA and the field but do be weary of predatory CORPERATIONS such as Abskids, they will burn you out, gaslight you, and dispose of you."

"If you want your child to be neglected, treated like a hindrance, and then be personally blamed for not reaching his/her goals then ABS kids is the place for you! In the one year our child has been receiving "services" from ABS kids we have had 5 new BA supervisors, 4 new therapists and we were forced to start bringing our child into the center instead of doing home visits half way through the year for unknown reasons. You would think a company like ABS would know that a solid routine and familiarity is essential for a child with disabilities to learn and make progress. One therapist upset our child so much that he threw up multiple times, was shaking and was inconsolable for hours after the session, when confronted about it she said, “he needs to be pushed out of his comfort zone.” Which can be true but to the point of him fearing you ever since really? Yes, we reported it to the corporate officers, and nothing came of it. In our last IEP meeting we were ambushed by management and were told that since our child is not making the progress they want to see our so called services are to be cancelled which is crazy because we pay you for those “services”…? The lack of leadership this company has is astounding, their collective empathy levels are less than unsatisfactory, and their personal accountability is non-existent. Taking our child here with the hopes of finding help will forever be one of our biggest regrets as parents. Do not make the same mistake we did, find a place that cares about your child, not one who blames your child for their team’s ineffectiveness and lack of teaching aptitude."

"I love the therapists that come to our home every week to work with my son. They are very professional and he loves when they come over. However, I am very frustrated that ABS is discontinuing their speech services with very little notice. The places that they recommend we go to as a replacement do not offer the weekly, consistent services my son needs for his speech. Very frustrating!!"

"We received services for over 2 years. We had a great experience for with ABS. They hire highly educated therapists and are very conscientious about keeping their hours. I didn't have to worry about losing Medicaid hours. You know your child so be sure to speak up if therapies start to cause more anxiety. Our kids need to feel parental praise and support through this journey. My son has made huge leaps dressing, sitting, eating independently. Love the people."
