"This place is the best!! Every single person I have met is super kind. They are responsive, quick to get your pup in. I have a Samoyed which isn’t an easy task. The job they do for her is well done! I appreciate their customer service and you would regret giving them a try!"

"I dropped off my dog here for a simple bath and brush (no haircut, no “teeth cleaning”) a couple of months ago. Tell me why, after not hearing anything for 4 hours, I dropped in to see if she was finally done, and they hadn’t even gotten to washing her?? And while I was waiting for them to figure out how much longer it was going to be, me and two other men in the wait room with me began to hear some very loud and worrisome SCREAMING coming from what I could tell was a small dog somewhere in the back of their shop… This place used to be great, that was about 6 years ago. I would recommend NOT bringing your dog here for anything. I don’t trust them. They finally called me an hour later, so a total of 5 hours, to wash a 30 pound, well-behaved dog that they decided to charge me $90 for!!!"

"We have been coming to Goo Goo Dogs for several months, but after today I will no longer be bringing my dog here. The haircuts have always been great and I appreciate that they always ask me what I’m looking for and really follow through on my requests. However, ever since I started coming here they have averaged about 4 hours for a single appointment. I was very surprised the first time they said 4 hours, but it’s clear that they have several dogs waiting at all times and today was the last straw. My dog was at the groomer for 4.5 hours and when I called to check on his status, there were multiple dogs barking in the background. I have a small, anxious dog who dislikes the groomer regardless, so I am deeply uncomfortable at their lack of time management with the dogs. A nervous dog can’t be kenneled for that long surrounded by other dogs, and with the dog flu going around right now, I’m even more uncomfortable. Overall, they are very nice but I do not trust them with my dog anymore. They aren’t respecting my time and I don’t feel that they have good judgment when it comes to the dogs."

"I had hoped we found our groomer. Our first visit went fairly well our puppy was a bit of a mess and they cleaned her up and did what they could with mats. Our second visit she was dropped off with instructions on how she should look. When we picked her up it was a nightmare. Not only did they not follow instructions but our dog was traumatized beyond belief. She is an energetic happy puppy and loves company and all attention. Whe she got home she was shaking and noticeably afraid. She got on our bed and stayed by wife the rest of the night. She didn't eat for 3 days, wouldn't go outside for 4 days and is still scared of our car, in fear of where we might take her. She had been cut on her face by her eyes and again on her belly multiple times. This altered our dog's personality. I don't know what happened but when I mentioned this to a friend she said a similar thing happened to another friend's dog at this same grooming facility. Absolutely unacceptable. When my wife called to inform them the person who answered tried to be understanding but only could offer a discount on future services. I would have to be cruel to take my dog back there. She is terrified of that place. She is still apprehensive about getting in the car where she used to love to go for rides. Our dog lost trust in us because of what happened there. I wouldn't do that to this very important member of our family. I hope this was an isolated incident and an isolated groomer because this groomer either doesn't give a hoot about dogs or they are not a competent groomer. The owner or manager was kind and I'm sure this will worry him, I hope it worries him enough to make change. However, there is nothing they can do to get me to take any pet of mine back there. Proceed with caution."

"Update: we took our puppy for her second appointment here and asked for the same cut. It was completely different and looked horrible. Super frustrating and we will now be going to a different groomer. My puppy had her first grooming appointment at Goo Goo Dogs today and I was SO happy with my experience there! Super friendly customer service and a great haircut! They listened to how I wanted her cut to be like and she is so soft and smells amazing! They really seemed to love dogs and it was a fun and welcome atmosphere! Definitely will recommend to others and will be coming back soon!"
