"this dr ignored my wife's concerns over a genetic mutation that causes a high risk of blood clots , when we were doing a pre op for her broken ankle.she was adamant about him knowing her concerns, which he brushed off. my wife had Surgery aug 1st, to have 2 plates and 15 screws for a trimaluar fracture in her ankle. Aug 14th she had her stitches taken out. she explained her serious fatigue and common red flags a dvt/ pulmonary embolism. he said it was natural to be fatigued.4 days later she passed away due to a blood clot that formed in her leg and traveled to her lungs.she was 34 years old, and this could have been prevented.even the police told me that there were medical professionals questioning why she wasn't prescribed blood thinners after they pulled her medical history proving she was high risk for blood clots. and it was well documented in her medical records. being short staffed and hurrying through patient's is what ultimately led to the negligence and the untimely death of my wife. I will not stop until something is corrected about this, so this does not happen in the future."
