"I'll add to the many voices. I received a collections form from Clear Recovery in the amount of 15.57. There was no indication what this was or if it was a scam or not. I called Radiology Consultant's billing company to see if 1. I was sent a bill for this amount and what it was from. 2. When this bill was sent. After being on the phone with them, I found out it was from an ER visit for my child of which I paid CHI midlands almost 1000 dollars for. I say that to point out, I wouldn't have neglected to pay 15 dollars if I had actual received the bill. They told me when they had sent the bill and that they immediately send to collections within 30 days. I asked them to email me a copy of the bill they sent. They did. I am incredibly type A with my bills and I can say without a doubt, this bill was never received prior to this email. So this is what I think it happening, Radiology Consultants, you have contracted with a billing company that checks off that they sent notices, but they didn't actually send notices. Someone isn't doing their job, and it's making you look bad. I would reconsider who you are contracting with. On that note, I would urge the hospitals in town to reconsider contracting with radiology consultants. Because this practice is definitely unethical, and borderline illegal."

"We received no invoice, no calls, emails, or anything to notify us we ever owed any money. Then we received a Default Notice in the mail from a collection agency, Clear Recovery, saying we owed them for a past invoice. No details of what the “services rendered” even were. We paid the collection agency just making sure these guys aren’t going to tank our credit score, just can’t believe they would send you to collections without even sending an invoice first or at least picking up the phone to call."

"Was sent off to collections over like 65$ and I never even received a bill!!!! Same as other people. Very shady business tactics will be calling today! Possibly an attorney!"

"I was paying my accounts last year and all of a sudden I stopped receiving a bill. I thought I paid them off being that the bills stopped and I have to use the bill to see the website and my account number to login on the bill pay site. This was last year June. In Nov or Dec of last year I received a letter about collection from clear recovery. After speaking to the rude lady and screenshot all my payments that I made. She said she will get back with me after the client checks my payments. I emailed her a couple of times from waiting. Finally she said the client said those payments went to a different account. I ended up finding out it was Radiology Consultants and I called. The customer rep was very helpful and found the accounts. One was paid off and the one in question had two payments. I questioned How did this go in collections without me getting a phone call, email, a late notice etc.? She checked and said the only thing was a bill was sent out in June. She said she was going to send all the info we discussed and see if they will take it off of collections and to call back in 2-3 weeks. called back today and now all of a sudden they supposed to have found where I was sent calls, emails and bills. This is total lies. I never received them. It just went straight to collections. This is very unfair to people that pay their bills and who are trying to keep a good credit score."

"The same experience as everyone else.... never got a bill, sent to Clear Recovery Collection Agency was my first notice. I asked to have a bill sent to me. I thought it was a joke when I received the bill. It looked like someone just typed it up on word. No address, logo, water mark, nothing to make it look legit. I am almost certain the Collection Agency just typed it up and sent it to me..... I wasn't going to but I have to upload a picture of it. There is nothing on the back either."
