"We stopped in this joint Friday evening, not knowing anything about it & had the best of everything. We had the best waitress, smiled and cared for any need we may have had. She could handle my spouse's sarcasm like a charm, which is a huge plus. Our drinks never got low & food was quick and amazing. It was homestyle cooking, which is what we were wanting. Definitely a must try if you're in the area."
"The lady at SleepInn recommended this restaurant. Now I know why. It’s 8:30 and they close at 9:00. Ordered 6 oz steak, med rare, with backed potatoe. Along with corn. Added mushrooms and shrimp. The steak was cooked perfectly. Tender and no fat. Almost better than Alberta beef. Had to add that. Restaurant was clean and service was very good. It’s worth the drive. Price was reasonable. Lots of seating."
"The service was very friendly. The bathrooms were clean. I ordered the chicken fried steak with potato and a side salad. It was delicious! My husband ordered a steak medium rare and it came out medium to medium well and it was bland. This is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. If you are on Hwy 40 and looking for a decent meal, I suggest it. The views are really pretty from the back dining area."
"We were visiting Shamrock for a quick trip. We decided to eat here because not much else was open. The lady that waited on us was very nice and helpful. We sat out in their sunroom. It was so nice to look at the view behind their restaurant. The food was good. My youngest had a grilled cheese, he enjoyed it. My oldest son had a chef salad. He said it was great. My husband had a cheeseburger and enjoyed it. I had the steak trimmings. This was cubes of marinated steaks with peppers and onions served on a bed of rice. It was really good."
