They removed 3 moles and I was in and out in an hour. Dr. Perillo and her staff were awesome! So friendly and helpful! It was literally pain free! "I cannot recommend against Schlessinger MD enough. I had a horrible experience (below) that was consistent with experiences my family has had. In short, we felt like we were evaluated for dollars and not medical conditions, being sized up for what procedures we could be talked into and charged for and what products we could be sold. I was completely disappointed almost every step of the way of my personal experience. I came to have a skin check. After waiting 45 minutes to be seen, I barely was with the doctor for 10 minutes and he decided he wanted to remove a mole right away, without giving an explanation as to why or what the risks would be. After being told it wouldn't affect the cost or urgency if I deferred a couple months for personal reasons, I decided to wait. When I came back, I asked why the mole needed to be removed, and couldn't get an answer. But, since I was already so far in I went ahead. Well, that left me with an uncomfortable lump of scar tissue despite following the care guideline to a T. Then, I started getting billed for extra office charges that I had been guaranteed would not occur since I was coming in for a follow up. After months of calling the billing number and receiving no response, I finally had to get a hold of the clinic through other means, at which point they talked in circles and wouldn't give clear answers as to any of my medical or financial questions - essentially everything amounted to "well the doctor saw it so it was probably good to get rid of" and "well that's just our billing policy". Then, I couldn't even pay the bill on the portal. I highly discourage everyone considering SchlessingerMD from visiting - save yourself the time, money, and headache. It is well worth it to wait a bit longer to get into another clinic where you will be treated with respect and dignity and as a patient instead of a profit mine."

If you’re in a pinch for time they will get you in and out in a timely manner, and on the other hand if you have questions about treatment, medication, etc they are more than willing to take the time to thoroughly answer all of your questions.
