"ZERO STARS, NOT one star, ZERO. Dr. Balter has the absolute worst care practice and is extremely dismissive and disrespectful to patients. He does not care about patients individually and treats everyone the same while priding himself on it. He makes patients wait up to an hour for scheduled appointments although he will refuse to see a patient if they are 3 minutes late. He does what he wants despite patient refusal or requests, such as radio frequency nerve preparation under the guise of a steroid injection. Beyond horrible to multiple staff and nurses with no decency to those who rely on him as a doctor or supervisor. While under pressure and patient inquiry he can become extremely irritable with the potential of emotional and mental abuse. Dr. Balter is not safe to be around and can display violent behavior that can be triggering or upsetting, especially for women. I would not recommend him whatsoever under any circumstances."

"I've been to a different clinic in a bigger city so I can compare, and the staff at MPC is just light years away, caring and knowledgeable. They know my name, they remember me, and they explain their reasoning and decisions. I am beyond grateful I found this place!"

"The staff is rude and unprofessional. DO NOT GO HERE!!! They make patients fill out two hours plus paperwork prior to appointment. They make you adhere by ridiculous rules where you have to pay a fee if you’re running late. Then they make you wait 45 minutes past your appointment time in the waiting room because they say they have to get paperwork together. Paperwork I spent two hours filling out prior to my appointment. The staff is extremely incompetent if it takes 45 minutes after my appointment to get my file ready when I am in excruciating and agonizing pain waiting in the waiting room for 45 minutes. Then, when a person finally came out to take me back to the room, she yelled at me from across the building when they had me waiting on the right side rather than the left side. A lady that works there yelling at me from the far side of the building to hurry up and get to her faster. I had to stop, and tell her that I could not walk any faster because of my pain. And that wasn’t good enough for her."

"I was scheduled to have some injections on March 4 and somebody is not doing their job. They didn’t tell me until I got there that I have to pay $325 co-pay in the past all I had to pay was a standard office visit co-pay they wouldn’t even let me pay it out, I’m getting to be very disappointed with this outfit. I can’t get help with things from my doctor, so I’m probably gonna be looking for a different outfit."

"I have been dealing with pain for years with little to no help from a varied assortment of doctors. It wasn't until I came to Midwest Pain Clinic that I found what I had been missing. Caring, compassionate doctors, nurses and staff. Whom really do go that extra mile to make me comfortable and involved with the treatment plans we decide to pursue. I really was listened to for a change and not just dismissed to wander away without adequate treatment. For any looking for the answers and not just wind in your sails I highly recommend Midwest Pain Clinics and the staff that this place comprises. I am pleased with the results I get each and every time I visit, i think you will be as well."
