Ortho & Spine Urgent Care - MD West ONE

"This rating is specific to one doctor, Dr Indra, and one visit, NOT the MD West One overall. We had received excellent care here with Dr Makovicka so naturally when my family doctor said to see a foot specialist we turned to this clinic. Well, that was a mistake. Now we know the level of care can vary wildly from one doc to the next. When I was asked to remove my shoe and sock I told the woman I cannot (I have degenerative arthritis of the spine and can't easily bend)she scampered out of the room and when she returned she scolded me saying I told you to remove your shoe and sock. I was very embarrassed and upset. Then the doc said that my provider would not release the xray, so it would be best to do an ultrasound ($$$) When I got home still very upset at the rudeness of the staff, I called my provider who told me they had not received a request for records. From the staff to Dr Indra I just felt like I was being talked down to, the staff was rude and insensitive. It isn't easy to be unable to do simple things like tying your own shoes and being demeaned for it didn't help. So, I definitely don't recommend Dr Indra. I will continue to see my ortho, Dr Makovicka as he has given me excellent care and shows compassion for me , allowing me to retain some dignity. Best advice is the clinic itself is good, some of the Docs are great, but this one doctor I would steer away from."

"Shawn in the knee ortho was awesome! His bed side manner was awesome! He explained how the Cortizone shot is injected into the knee and how it goes all over. If you have a phobia about needles, he explained exactly what he was going to do it and when!"

"I was a walk-in and was seen quickly. Radiographs were taken and I was seen by PA-C Shaun Horak. He was more than thorough and the time he spent with me was impressive. The front office and nursing staff were friendly, efficient, and professional. Their care and concern was sincere, and I could not thank them enough."

"Dr. Del Core & team got me in, assessed, treated,and provided w/home care instructions for hand issue w/in same day as contact/care request, which was refreshingly swift. At appt, Med assessment & subsequent treatment was not rushed, plus I was kept informed during that entire process. Am quite happy w/the med care received, and its results."

"I love MD WEST ONE! I love the staff and the care I get there. They take time to listen to you and answer questions. I highly recommend Dr Del Core for hand shoulder and elbow needs and Dr Uggen for knees!! Their PAs are wonderful as well!! Can’t go wrong with MD WEST ONE!!"
