Aurora Family Practice Group (not medicine) has always been good to me and my family. All of the doctors and nurses are very nice and understanding as well as the ladies checking me in."

"I have been going to Aurora Family Medicine for 48 years - Dr Patt & Dr Sundland and Andrea Moon we're phenomenal - Dr Sundland is now my primary care Dr and I know he will give me the best care available. I have to warn every one who goes to AFM DO NOT see Dr K under any circumstances. He is unqualified & old enough to be beyond s condescending (I am 72 yrs old & old enough to be his Mother - Unbelievably he referred to me as little lady) Possibly the most condescending thing anyone has ever said to me. I went to due to entire right side of face swollen, bottom of jaw big lump, swollen glands - Unbelievably all he did was look in my mouth and ears. No bloodwork to see if I had infection - absolutely nothing. He then said "I have some homework fir you little lady" when I enquired what he said in Feb one year since your last physical which I have scheduled just like every year which he could see on computer. I have now been in emergency room at medical center of Aurora - STAY AWAY from Dr K"

"This place is a joke if I'm being honest. They are stuck in the past in regards to communication, they have no digital way to talk with your PCP, ask for refills on prescriptions, or anything else that modern offices utilize. I had a procedure done, that didn't take, I missed an appointment due to work obligations and am now in a place where I can start seeing a professional again. I wanted to object to the payment for a procedure that the PA completed, especially hard now after she told me she gives that procedure freely to the others in the office. I suggest looking elsewhere for any kind of medical treatment, this is the last place you would want to go. Updated The 1 out of 5 is even more solid now. Been waiting almost 2 weeks for a referral from this office. in the meantime I'm just sucking down pain pills until they do their job...."

"I’ve been going to this office for a couple of years now but after being seen multiple times over that timeframe, I am currently looking for a new primary doctor. Mark Nathanson is always nonchalant during conversations to the point that I feel he’s not actually listening. When I ask for referrals to a specialist, he acts like he doesn’t want to do that. And if you try to get a referral by calling the number at the office directly, nobody returns your calls. I had to go find a gastroenterologist on my own without a referral that took my insurance due to constant heartburn I kept telling him about. His PAs are not much better. The only reason I am not giving anything lower than 2 stars is because the young ladies at the front desk are super sweet. I’m tired of wasting my time and money at this office. I will be going to my old doctors office since I found out they take my insurance."

"We self-admittedly showed up late to the doctors visit today because of traffic issues and construction on Potomac. The lady checking us in told us that we were five minutes away from not being able to be seen. At one point she went to the back of the office to ask a question about identification. When she returned she told me that we were not going to be able to be seen per the office manager. I asked to speak to the office manager. She begrudgingly came out to a very, very empty front office. She, at that point told me that my son was not going to be seen because we were too late all of this contradicted what the other lady said, she then told me that not everybody gets to get a pass on being late which means that some do but some don’t I guess she as the office manager gets to decide, how fun for her. I then asked for the office manager’s name. She told me her first name was Dawn. I then asked for her last name and she said I’m the only Dawn that works here. I thought that was a very interesting last name. Your reviews are horrible I should’ve paid attention to that before trying to bring my son to you for medical help. I would like somebody to contact me back other than Dawn, the only one that works here to discuss her deplorable behavior. If this is how you treat new customers I’m highly concerned. It’s like a special little treat for Dawn to turn people away just because you’re late. As a super busy single dad trying to work with my ex-wife on getting this kid to the doctor you made my life much easier Dawn. Thank you. It’s incredible how busy you guys weren’t that you couldn’t take us."
