About the Business

The Mind Store

The Mind Store, located at 3000 South Jamaica Court in Aurora, Colorado, is a health institution that offers support and treatment for individuals struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues. Our clinicians use evidence-based treatments to help patients overcome obstacles, build resiliency, and create a purposeful and meaningful life. We believe in collaborating with our patients to renew hope and significantly improve their quality of life.

At The Mind Store, we prioritize evidence, collaboration, goals, worthiness, and innovation in our treatment approach. We utilize the latest medical technologies, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), a noninvasive form of brain stimulation that has been shown to be effective in treating depression. We focus on providing practical care that leads to measurable improvements in our patients' daily functioning, relationships, and overall well-being.

Our mission is to elevate the standard of mental health care by offering a combined approach of psychotherapy and medication management. We believe in taking the time to truly understand each individual's unique circumstances and aspirations in order to create an effective treatment plan for their future. Our clinicians treat a wide range of behavioral, emotional, and mental health issues, with a focus on empowering change and nurturing acceptance.

"I wish I could rate AGAMI higher than 5 stars! Their entire team is FABULOUS. They have always treated me with dignity and respect. I have watched them with other clients as well and I see their genuine compassion for everyone that walks thru the door. I initially went to them because I moved to CO in late 2017 and they were the first place that had an opening. I needed a psychiatrist to keep me on my Rx. I was surprised when Dr Park spent more than 15 mins going over my past Rx history with me, as has been my experience for many years. Not only did we discuss Rx, he then spent another 45 mins talking to me as a counselor. I had never had a psychiatrist/counselor combo before and was amazed at how effective it is when your Dr hears more about what's going in your life than just the effects of your current Rx. This tratment model is not practiced by someone that doesnt care about his patients. He could offer the basics that most psychiatrists offer and still bill insurance the same amount but he wants his patients to succeed and is invested in their progress. He also doesn't believe in keeping someone in therapy forever. Even if it means less income for him, when you stabilize to the point that you have better things to do than spend 30 mins with him, it's a sign that you may be ready to engage in therapy less often and he will tell you that. Dr Park has been a life and marriage saver for me and he is amazingly efficient. He gets done in 1-2 sessions what would take 6 months for another counselor because he doesn't dance around the issues. To do this, he may be more blunt with you than you might have experienced before and that may be off putting to some. If you are ready to do the hard work to make your life enjoyable again, Dr Park is your man! He also got me hooked up with TMS. If you are someone that has struggled with depression for a long time and taken Rx that hasn't been effective, talk to someone about TMS. It's a game changer. It may sound like hokey fake science. It's not. It works and works fast. THANK YOU AGAMI!"

""AND GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR LIFE OF HELL!" - Words of termination, yelled at me by Charles Park on 4/15/19, when he refused to answer my request for my own treatment plan. All I tried to do, is hold him accountable for his lack of thearapeutic skills and professionalism. After almost 6 months of not having a treatment plan, or even a say in my own treatment goals... instead of settling my fears and answering my concerns...he just quits me, and THEN verbally bullies me, as I leave his office, to continue my own healing. This person has too little integrity and emotional intelligence to work within the Mental Health Field... let alone charge insurances over $600 for each 30 min visit. PLEASE seek Mental Health Services elsewhere! Don't submit yourself to the level of disregard and recklessness of Charles Park at Agami Counselling."

"I thought my doctor was a very intelligent guy. With good insight until he just started yelling and couldn't get past the 1st 4 words beginning our talk. I have my part in things. Never have I been treated in such an unprofessional manner. Made me just want to throw the same old walls right back up like my abusive step dad was in the room. I would strongly reconsider as the psych is very much a militant my way is the only way type personality."

"When i first started going to Agami Health, I was seeing Molly. She was really helpful to me and gave me hope. But then 7 months into seeing her, Dr. Park fired her and I had to start seeing him. In 3 months,he broke down all the work I had done. He literally traumatized me by the way he spoke to me. I cannot even believe he is allowed to treat patients, let alone patients with mental illnesses! Its dangerous and i would not recommend anyone who is actually struggling to see him, because he'll just make you feel worse. This was literally the worse experience i've had with a doctor. Even though it may be hard to find another Dr, I would still NEVER go back to Dr. Park."
