"I wish I could select zero stars. They don’t answer or return calls. They have no compassion for traumatic experiences. Their lack of communication resulted in us coming on the wrong day at which time I said I was gonna try to get in sooner with another provider to which they said to let them know if we weren’t keeping the appointment. We decided to keep it so did not call them. When we showed up we were told they canceled it. There was no apology at all or even an attempt to help the situation just told it was our fault. Then while I was sitting in the parking lot scrambling to find another doctor they called security."

"Beside the fact that he sewed my severed finger on crooked he missed the fact that my knuckle was broken until I inquired three months later. Everyone in that office acted like they were doing me a favor when, in fact, they did nothing for me but make light of a painful situation. I would not recommend them to anyone."

"I went to Dr Huene for shoulder pain. He was very professional and offered me several options to relieve my pain. I opted for an injection. Worked like a charm. I am now pain free. Office staff was very nice."

"The lead assisting nurse had the gall to insinuate my husband was cheating and lie to me about tests that were supposed to be ran about his knee. I received a call about them wanting to speak to us, I called hoping for results and was told my balance due immediately. I then explained we never for ANY INFORMATION about what was happening and wouldn’t be paying till we received it. I left a voicemail with them as well stating such. I was told he ‘refused every test they offered’ and never got the MRI, ultrasound, or CT scan they were supposed to order yet we have a 100 dollar bill with them. We had only the ultrasound done and never heard back for follow up or scheduling for other tests let alone results for the ultrasound or anything about what was going ON. They then had the rashness to tell me I ‘clearly don’t know what my husband is up to’ and how we needed to pay. I said fine, call him themselves and get it figured out if they aren’t going to deal with me but they were NOT going to be paid and why else was he gone 4 HOURS!?They then call my husband after I told them to ‘figure out what’s going on with their patients themselves if they wish to be compensated for work they claim to have done’ and tell him they no longer want to work with him. We will be speaking to lawyers about their conduct. This isn’t the first time we have had issues with their work, scheduling, and lying. If people want to be paid, they need to DO THEIR JOB."

"I cannot attest to the bedside manner or skill of Dr Heune, as I was 'denied' an appt. Not due to insurance, mind you. After calling to try to make an initial appt, I was snapped at told that they'd call me when they had a date for me. Should have been a big "red flag" for me right there! I waited over a week for them to call back and acknowledge my Drs referral. The woman who called was SUPER rude and said, "we are not willing to accept you as a patient at our practice "....crickets chirping....I asked "could you please tell me why?", and was told I'd seen an ortho Dr over a year and a half ago when I'd first hurt my knee ( I choose rehab and not surgery at that time, but had reinjured meniscus worse in a slip on ice recently) and that "Dr Heune does not do second opinions!". "HE reviewed your info and deemed you a high risk and is not willing to take you as a patient!"....ummmm, not sure what he "reviewed", as they have limited info on me as a potential new pt. Perhaps my being an amputee ( sports injury, not diabetes) was too much for him???! No further explanation.... I understand he has the right to pick and choose his potential patients ( although, I think Drs that do this, knowing someone is badly hurting and in need of care , are not true to their sworn oath! ). But does he know how RUDE and snippy the woman calling people on HIS behalf is?? Maybe so?! Wow. There is NO need to be SO snotty, rude and dismissive to someone simply looking for help. This speaks volumes to me as to Dr Heune's professionalism, running an office in this manner. I'm glad I did not have to go and deal with such a rude, unprofessional woman in his office, in person! No one who is injured and in pain needs this kind of added b.s. in their life. There are PLENTY of other kind, compassionate Orthopedists in the area and it shall be my pleasure to go elsewhere! You may want to work on your people skills though....a simple, "I'm sorry, Dr Heune is not able to see you" would suffice. Lose the condescending mean-girl tone and be professional...or find another line of work. I've worked over 35 years as a medical professional, and on my worst day never spoke to anyone the way she spoke to me. I had phone on speaker and my husband and daughter were disgusted. I have since heard that , " Yeah, Dr Heune's office can be really rude!". Shameful, really."
