"I stopped in with my sister and mother. We all loved the shop! The decor was so cute and the local and women-owned products are great! We were helped by the most wonderful employee, Gabrielle. She was so kind and knowledgeable. She made great tea suggestions and let us sample the local honeys. She really made our day! We will definitely be back."
"My son and I came in before Christmas to buy a gift for a friend. We were greeted by Gabrielle . Gabrielle was merchandising and stopped what she was doing and greeted my son and I with a big smile. I asked her what kinds of tea would be good for relaxing. She was so full of knowledge. I bought several tea sets. We went back again yesterday and she was so happy to see us. She listened to what we were looking for and guided us in the right direction, giving lots of useful info along the way. She also packaged our tea so nicely as it was for a gift. "Authentic tea shop in historic Durango. Knowledgeable folk on staff, abundant tastings. As a family of five, cleared out with multiple teas and honeys for two Besides knowledgeable advice and suggestions by bar staff, everything was packed for travel home. Relaxing place to sit and chat too."
"We stopped in on 11-20-23 and Gabby was so amazing and sweet! She was helpful and friendly. Helped us out with a tea to try for the day. It was an Apple Crisp. The tea was so good, we came back the next day to get some to take back to Missouri with us! Certainly recommend Old Barrel to visitors and locals! If you haven’t tried them you are missing out! They even have a website so you never have to go without your favorite tea!"
