"I am a tour bus driver and had a couple passengers from the UK looking to buy some cigars. The Durango Smoke Shop could not have been more accommodating!! For a smaller town, they found a selection they were thrilled with and could not say enough good things about the service received!!! I will definitely bring any cigar aficionados back the Durango! I travel the country and anytime I experience phenomenal customer service, I celebrate it! The Durango Smoke Shop deserves recognition! Well done!"

"Went in to buy mild to medium flavored cigars for my husband for our anniversary. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Between my father in law and I we bought 13 cigars. Four of the cigars we bought were the Durango Smoke Shop brands which was recommended to us by the staff. That evening my father in law smoked the Durango Smoke Shop cigar and had to put it out because it was too dry and harsh. My husband mentioned he tried that same cigar two weeks prior and did not like it. So we decided to go back to the shop and see if we could exchange them for Macanudo’s. The same staff from the day before was there. So she immediately recognized us. We told her we did not like the product and we would like to exchange them. She said that she believed that there was a law prohibiting the exchange of tobacco products because she used to work in a gas station and would not allow exchange the cigars. The only thing she offered was a 10% discount on a new purchase. I really wanted the Macanudo so I bought 3 more with a 10% discount. I could not find a Colorado law prohibiting the exchange of cigars. However, every online cigar company offers a 30 day exchange. I also called another cigar retailer in Durango who said as long as the cigars are in its original packing they can be returned or exchanged. State law requires a return policy to be posted in the place of business and there was not one posted. Would love to keep my business local but think my next cigar purchase will be online with a company that guarantees customer satisfaction."

"Courtney and staff are amazing especially when they warm up to you. Great selection and value. Perhaps most importantly you can smoke in the lounge area up front. My only wish is that I could have spent more time there and enjoying the doggos. My only critique (that did not affect my rating) is I would have liked more cigar talk. Overall a must visit."
