Summit at Flatirons Apartments

"NEW APARTMENT RENTERS BEWARE. These apartments are older, and thus have a conjoined fire alarm system. Bewteen the four buildings, there are fire alarms going off 2-3 times per week. And they are LOUD alarms. You never know how long they’re going to be going off, and for a community that is so “pet friendly”, I’m appalled. The fire alarms will go off because 1 person (out of 4 floors worth of levels) that opens their door to the hallway when they burn food. Our animals are stressed out from living here and if you have animals or kids, I wouldn’t recommend it. Rockvue literally down the street didn’t have one faulty fire alarm go off, and for the 6 months we’ve been here, our building alone has gone off (without actual cause) at least 20 times. The leasing agents can’t do anything about it, and there’s nothing they will do to make living here less of a nightmare. I feel bad for the residents and leasing staff, but this apartment complex is an absolute joke. They don’t offer any sort of compensation for the fire alarms going off relentlessly. The other day, residents posted on the virtual bulletin board regarding all of the fire alarms going off and admin deleted ALL of them within 30 minutes of them going up. Should be illegal to provide these living conditions and charging $2300+ for them."

"Poncho and Kennedy are amazing! Kennedy is so communicative and helpful! She answers all the questions we have without a problem and made sure we settled in nicely. And Poncho! That man came to our rescue when our heater wasn’t working and got it fixed in a jiffy! Such a great team of professionals"

"I’ve lived here for like 5 months. It’s great, very nice, quiet, amazing units. But, rent is already insanely high. Instead of just making money off the very steep rent, they throw a ton of other fees on. The 40 dollar trash service you can not opt of out of ridiculous, and is way higher than what the service most likely costs to the complex given everyone pays it. The parking garage fee of $25, on top of paying through a third party system already, is also not needed or at the least should be less. They say it’s for maintence but they just powerwash the garage every many months. There is so many other charges loaded on top, if they want to hold tenants longer they should really reduce prices. Every person moving out has said they are due to costs. Also. Why are the extremely bright parking garage lights installed to face towards the apartments, instead of down or towards the garage? It’s extremely bright even shining through blinds. I don’t think anyone enjoys having such bright lights shine in at night. OTHERWISE, I do enjoy how quiet it is here and the amenities, very cool nice staff, the unit, etc."

"It was great I love the dog friendly community. Maintenance team is awesome, super fast response time. Leasing office gets back to me quickly as well. Food trucks are so much fun. I love the pool and hot tub it’s well kept. So many perks to being a resident here. The neighbors are a hit or a miss, but that’s out of the apartments control but overall it’s been a great 2 years. A lot of the negative experiences stem from disrespectful neighbors which again are out of the leasing offices control. Sometimes people leave “free” stuff out but the maintenance team usually cleans up after people daily. To each their own BUT for how much I pay in rent I LOVE the summit."
