"I stopped in to see if they had Kirschwasser in stock which they did not. Sara asked what I was looking for and I told her, she immediately offered to make calls to find some for me. She was successful in finding a store that had a bottle in stock and had them hold it aside for me!! "i just shopped for the last time at Animas Wine and Spirits. It is not enough that they have a very limited selection compared to other liquor stores, they have a couple of smart-a**ed clerks who delight in telling people how to use their credit/debit cards and who smart-mouth you if you complain about their interfering in the transaction process -- something we all do hundreds of times a week without the help of clerks in other businesses. I have complained many times before yet today one of them told me I was a very angry man because I complained again today. He's right now -- I am angry."
"I was primarily looking for local /regional beer here and was really happy with the variety of Durango breweries as well as Colorado and Utah beer that they had in stock. The were also categorized accordingly so you could narrow down your search, helpful with the big cooler they have. Since Hermosa is on the outskirts of Durango, it was nice that there is a bottle shop with anything you would need right next to a grocery store there in the Animas Valley."
