"Adding to original review: Since Steve treated me so well when I sold my items, I went back to him to look for a wedding ring. He had a sweet old ring with an inscription from 1953 (which he removed) that fits right on top of my engagement ring. And, it was reasonably priced! Capital Estate doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's what's on the inside that counts, and that's Steve. Thank you! I wanted to finally sell some old gold jewelry and a watch that I just don’t wear. I couldn’t decide whether to sell to a dealer or put them on consignment at a store I like. After talking to a few dealers, I went to Capital Estate Jewelers. Like others have said, Steve is a very nice man. And he offered me what I think was a fair price. It’s so hard to know, right? But even if I’d sold the pieces for double on consignment, I’d still probably get what he paid me. I know he has to make money too. What finally convinced me to sell to him was that he will try to sell the pieces intact, not just melt them down. I hope they find a home and will be worn!"
