"There’s a man with a dog that sits on the wall in front of the store who threatens to beat me up every time I walk past. Like, no thanks dude, I just want to get my food. He’s there all the time so it seems like Safeway is cool with it. I will not be shopping here while he is hanging out. And edit to respond to the response below - I called the shop yesterday when it happened again, and no one picked up and it never went to voicemail. I also tried the contact us link and spent too much time talking to a chatbot. Is there a better solution?"

"No staff. The staff who is there doesn’t seem to know a thing about the store. If they do know, they don’t care to show a lick of customer service or help anyone out. Stores like this are the reason why feeding America is becoming so difficult. Monitor your customer reviews with the same fervor you monitor your declining revenues…and do a lot better! P.s- people are pissing in the aisles of your store because no one who works at the store knows the code to the bathroom…again, this is where America is supposed to buy food?? Jesus!"

"This place is always understaffed and understocked. I use the Drive Up and Go service because I’m disabled and all four times I ordered from this store they were out of stock of a large portion, expensive items were charged but missing, AND I had to go in anyway because I was waiting in my car for 20-30 mins. No one was ever in the Drive Up and Go area, no one answered the phone, and the customer service desk was either closed or had a line 3+ people deep. Absolutely miserable experience for myself and likely their staff too. Two stars because there was always at least one staff member who apologized and genuinely did try to help (even though they were so busy)."

"This is by far, the worst grocery store I have ever been to. It has nothing to do with the staff, they are fine. However, I have been to this grocery store numerous times and at different times of the day, and they have LITERALLY never had something that I needed. If this was a one time occurrence, than it would be understandable. But this has happened every single time I have gone to this grocery store and its always a different item. My last straw with this store, which prompted me to write this review, was when I (mistakenly) decided to use their app to order groceries ahead. I thought this would prevent items not being in stock and it would save me time, wrong and wrong. Not only did my order get delayed an hour passed when they were supposed to be ready, they didn't even have most of the items I came to get! I ordered $80 worth of groceries and they only had $20 worth. At that point I just wanted to cancel my order but I couldn't do that because of some store policy. The cherry on top of this, is when I got home I saw that they didn't even get all of the items correct. I'm not even going to go into how long it takes to use the pharmacy here because that's a whole can or worms I don't feel like opening. But long story short, I have given this store numerous tries and its just at a point where it's my fault for thinking that the next time will be any different."

"Always empty shelves. The gas pumps rarely work. There is never anyone working there, so usually only one real checkout and all the rest are self checkout. Today there was a line of at least 40 people waiting in line to checkout. This store is always a complete mess and makes me never want to shop at Safeway ever again. They need to fire the store manager and gut this place. Today I walked out and went to 711 to buy milk instead."
