"Great customer service and super friendly was our cashier David. We hit little snag when he and another cashier needed an override and had to page their superior Ariana who was on duty. She was nowhere to be found and when she finally showed up she was rude to them and scolded them in front of the customers. That type of behavior shows that she does not deserve her position and probably uses it to get away with not doing her job properly like tonight. David and the other cashier were just doing their job like they’re paid to do and did not deserve to be embarrassed in front of customers like that."
"I love my Safeway. It is clean, bright, well-stocked, and well staffed. The employees are always knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.. Produce and meats are high quality. Best in the area. The only place that comes close is Costco."
"Coupon app is not user friendly. Multiple times I've had issues scanning items into the app only to get no discount at the checkout line. I then get rudely told by associates that I needed to scan the coupon. No kidding. Thanks for the tip. Feels like pulling teeth to get one of them to help. No way to try my phone number again (just in case I typed it in wrong) without an associate with an attitude voiding the entire order. Everything is more expensive. People are stressed. We're having to budget. I don't need a side order of attitude to go with it. Buy your associates a verbal judo book."
