"Just completed Handgun Safety | CCW Course with instructor John Duran, Tactical Iron Firearms Training. Excellent course for beginners or more advanced students. Comprehensive firearms training including firearm safety, cleaning, overview of self-defense pre-cautions, and concealed carry. Hands-on use at shooting range with John. John does a great job explaining details and answering questions. I felt very comfortable taking the class and well informed afterwards. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CLASS."

"I took John's 8-hour Handgun Safety CCW Course and was incredibly satisfied with his knowledge and teaching ability. I had never used a firearm before, but John was able to instill confidence in me and make me feel comfortable. By the time we got to the range, I felt prepared and safe. The course consisted of a 4-5 hour lecture period with frequent 10-minute breaks. During this time, I learned everything about Colorado handgun laws, handgun safety, proper procedures, when to use force, and more. After the lecture, there was an hour break for lunch before meeting at the firearm range where I got to test out firearms and shoot some rounds with John's guidance and advice. John was knowledgeable and had personal anecdotes to help the class learn. I highly recommend John's class and will not be going anywhere else should I decide to pursue more training. Honestly, he should charge more for the amount of time and care he spent on this class."
"I took the 8 Hour Handgun Safety/Concealed Carry Course and I really enjoyed my experience. John was extremely thorough and knowledgable. He used real life examples to relate with his teachings which I found very helpful. I had no firearm experience and was nervous about taking this course, especially going to the shooting range, but John made me feel at ease and helped me put what I learned in class into action. After taking this class, I now feel confident about handling a firearm correctly and safely. I would highly recommend this course!"
