"Been playing here for multiple years and overall a good and clean field. However the referees here are a constant issue. Multiple players get hurt here because of lack of referee calls, a lot which could be avoided if they would ‘see’ the fouls and mark appropriately. It is extremely frustrating seeing the lack of training the referees here seem to have. They all need to get on the same page and be willing to be teachable."
"Good teams but HORRIBLE referring. Many kids injured to do the referee not protecting our kids. Are apex refs certified?? Or are they just picking up anyone that wants to ref?? #kidssafety1st"
"Refs are terrible and inconsistent. I moved to Denver and started playing at Apex first and just thought that things were super stricter here and you weren't even able to make contact in the game. But now after playing at 3 other places, I can tell that more than half the refs at Apex(a few are good) don't know the rules and are super inconsistent/biased which ruins the game. Besides that the facility is great."
"Great place, nice staff and good enough referees compared to other places (Bladium, foothills, etc...) but like the Pickleball Center I don't care for the top manager who is the same woman, I've heard bad things about her and have bad interactions where she doesn't seem to care about my presence and condescendingly calls me "sweetie". For an organization that services sports and games, I don't see why she has to be so rude and impatient with her staff. But everyone else seems cool! EDIT: Her name is Roxie. She makes me feel unwelcome at both apex places I frequent at"
"Great facility. Indoor soccer is always a blast as long as all the ADULT participants remember that we are there for fun and none of us are in the MLS or La Liga. Al Sterner is the man, plain and simple, no contest"
