She's been an amazing ambassador for the dance community here and I've been taking weekly group and private classes with her ever since. Marcela teaches in such a way as to break down the complexity of the dance into the root moves and styles underneath. Her method has made it easy for us to learn new moves and to quickly incorporate them into the dance patterns we already know. Marcela is always open to incorporating our ideas during lessons, from what we want to work on, to what music we prefer to practice with, to new styles of Salsa that we would like to explore. She's a delightful person to know and to work with, and she creates a wonderfully inviting space in which to explore dance and movement, whether you're learning alone or together with a partner."
