"I’m in town for a conference and was looking for popular places to visit. This is my first time in Boulder. I ran across this place and saw it had great reviews so I decided to check it out. The drive was very pretty up to the facility. There is plenty of parking in the huge free lot. The facility is free and open to the public. The first and second floor has a variety of exhibits which are very interesting if you are interested in how climate happens. I found it all entertaining and informative. I would recommend this to all ages especially the hands on demos at the exhibits."

"Such an awesome educational place to visit, and what a beautiful place for them to be! The views from the lab building and also from the trails behind it are stunning. The parking is free and there is an electric charger (paid, but it's pretty cheap) in the lot. We've never had trouble parking here; the lot is a decent size. Inside the building, there are a bunch of exhibits and lots to learn about! I'd say this place wouldn't be ideal for very young kids, but maybe middle-school aged would be perfect. There was a lot of information listed at each stop along the way - which is awesome for adults. We literally loved that... But we didn't think kids would care to read each board the way that we did. Either way, we had a great time and would go here again with visitors."

"NCAR is one of the most premier laboratory in the USA engaged in atmospheric research. It is located in one of the most picturesque locations in Boulder, right at the foothills of flatiron mountain. The small exhibition hall is great for kids to learn about our atmosphere and climate change. This place is popular among locals for hiking and cycling. They have plenty of parking. Will recommend this place to everyone."

"The drive up to the beautiful building is great, and gets you into the mood for a great experience. The view once you are at the center parking lot is amazing. Then you get to enter a beautiful building and experience an interactive weather exhibit that is small but in depth. My 9 year old and 19 year old both liked the experience."

"Nice place to learn about the weather. Many hands on exhibits for kids. Theater has several movies, including boulder flood from 2013, wild fires, hurricanes, etc. A library and a cafe open during the week. Free entrance and free parking. You can go for a hike from here too. They recently re-opened the building for the public. I believe it is open 7 days a week. Could be a nice way to spend a day - hike in the morning, eat lunch and explore the building in the pm."
