"I've always been an A Cut Above loyalist, since other companies just don't look as good. However, in recent times, their quality has tanked. They've gone with different manufacturers. I always order 2-4 of the same item, and they always all fit different. One's always too tight, the others it too big. Maybe one of them fits just right. So then, you have to return the other ones that don't fit right (while still being the "same size"), and order more. Basically, if you want A Cut Above, be prepared to be in a constant state of buying and returning."

"Back in 2016 I bought some ACutAbove shirts and they were great! Unfortunately, I decided to get some recently and the quality has gone way downhill. The shirts I purchased only a month ago have buttons falling off, the collars don’t stay buttoned, and I am overall very disappointed."

"Have been a long time customer but cannot keep playing the return game to try and find a correct fit. Ordered the same pants (size, style, and all) and of course they show up not fitting. If you can go in the store, I'm sure it's better but otherwise plan a month between shipments to find something that actually works."

"I have been a customer of A Cut Above since roughly 2018. When I first began ordering my uniform shirts from them, the quality and fit was excellent. I was pleased with the products I was buying. I have to say, however, that quality and fit have slowly gotten worse since the beginning of 2020. I have ordered sweaters that came with parts poorly sewn, and ripped after being worn only a few times. The button on one of the epaulets fell off in about the same time frame. To their credit, they replaced the items, but the replacements were of equally poor quality. I recently ordered what will be my last shirts from A Cut Above. The shirts are of the same size, style, and cut as I have always ordered, Cirrus size 17. This time, however, the shirts are cut very poorly. There is excess material across the top of the shoulders, yet not enough across the back. I feel like Chris Farley in the jacket scene in "Tommy Boy". Both my dry cleaners and myself struggle to get them neatly pressed due to the way these things are sewn together. I reached out to A Cut Above and was told that they could see no visible defect, and that I would be unable to return them since they had been worn. Bearing in mind that all of my previous size 17 Cirrus shirts still fit fine, it is my opinion that this is further evidence of the downward trend in quality of A Cut Above. It is a real shame, since these were once the best pilot shirts on the market."

"While I wasn't impressed by the selection I was definitely happy with the service. These shirts are popular in our job field and not many come close to the comfort. If you need to go in I'd expect you to get the same great service I did.. Nice job"
