"We love this place for dinner, don't know about the overnight lodging. Such a beautiful setting. The food was fantastic, everyone loved their dishes; prime rib, salmon, pork chops and elk. Wait staff was great!"
"We did not stay at the lodge, but now plan to in the near future. We went for Sunday brunch, and enjoyed it immensely. Our waitress was wonderful and the food was delicious. The grounds are beautiful, and the owner was very personable and hands on, working right along side of his staff. Very impressed and looking forward to returning soon."
"Our family had a wonderful time at Elk Mountain Resort! We brought our kids down in the evening for a nice dinner, then my husband and I stayed the night. The entire lodge was decorated beautifully for the holidays, and the kids enjoyed the carriage ride while we stayed warm with cocktails. Dinner is fun and unique. $40 per person for a four course meal, including appetizers, main dish, side, and dessert. By the way, the mock tails are just as good as the cocktails. The room was very comfortable with a nice king bed. We enjoyed the soaking tub with provided bath salts as well. Brunch was just as good as dinner, with homemade hearty breakfast plates. This is truly a winter wonderland! They are closing for the rest of the winter on Jan 4, so if you are thinking about trying this place, it’s well worth the drive! They do a good job plowing the roads but bring your 4WD vehicle and be safe."
