"This was a great hotel! I don’t know what the complaints were all about breakfast was outstanding room was huge clean and updated. Outside was tidy and when I left my room at 2 in the morning to grab my diaper bag out of my car I felt safe. The lock on the exterior of the door doesn’t let you back in it doesn’t have a key reader but I felt safer because the main door a whole 20 feet away was well staffed. We stayed 4 days and would do it again. We’ve stayed in Montrose every year for 30 years and stayed at most the hotels in the area this was the best we’ve found especially for the price. The staff was exceptional and friendly."
"Rooms were comfortable, clean decent size, fit 4 of us comfortably, quite and overall nice!! Bathroom is a bit small and set up a bit weird. Heat lamp worked great and was a nice touch to the room! AC/heater unit was quite and worked great! Breakfast was ok, wish there was a little bit more options. Wifi was fast and worked great! The guy that check us in was friendly, check us in quickly and was overall great, didn't catch his name though! Didn't see many staff but what I did see seemed friendly! Definitely would recommend! :)"
"Staff was excellent, very friendly, very accommodating. Weekday morning manager and weekend night manager were aways on top of things. Breakfast was good, could us more fresh fruit but overall plenty of variety. The keycard system needs updating. Had to have keys reset 2-3 times daily. Hot tub was being fixed and there didn't seem to be an actual end date in sight. Pool area could use more light. Clean rooms, large beds. I would stay there again."
