"We have not yet been to Riverbend but I wanted to comment on my booking experience. I called to make a reservation and happened to call on a day when they were having a snowstorm and staff had difficulty getting to the office. Trena answered the phone and asked if she could call me back as systems were not up and ready yet. She called me back within minutes and was the most helpful person I’ve ever worked with at an RV Resort. She took the time to help me find just the right spot and even gave me all kinds of tips as to things to do when we are in town. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I was so appreciative for her help, thank you Trena!"

"If you're looking for a place to park your RV for a bit while exploring the area it's the best option by far! It's right along the Uncompahgre River and part of the town's trail system (great for kayaking or biking), dog friendly, close to shopping, quick access to get out of town to the mountains, and by far the quietest RV campground location in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful, the grounds are well kept, and the modern bathrooms are very clean. The few and occasional issues we had were typical of most RV parks and a result of the guests' actions, not the park's: some of the guests weren't always courteous when it came to idling engines (noise and exhaust fumes), observing quiet hours, picking up after/controlling pets, and respecting other's space. Those few things were so small compared to the vast majority of problems you find at most RV parks where deteriorating facilities, lack of rules, and messy grounds are the norm. This is seriously one of the best run and maintained campgrounds you'll find in Colorado."

"Our two-month stay at this location was a full-timer’s dream. The affordability, coupled with its convenient proximity to town and adjacency to a bike path, made it an ideal choice. Onsite propane availability added to the convenience. Every staff member we encountered exhibited exceptional kindness, helpfulness, and accommodation. The cleanliness and quality of the facilities further enhanced our experience. Without reservation, I would highly recommend this campground to others."

"Great RV park. Loved the sites that backup to the river! Bathrooms were very nice and clean. Free coffee / tea at the office. Great staff that escort you to your site and help you get situated if you need it. Laundry room was great. Very good location near restaurants and shopping if you need it. Loved visiting the museums nearby and Black Canyon of the Gunnison."

"We rented spot #41 to park our camper for a few days while exploring the area. Riverbend by far exceeded our expectations. The facilities were extremely clean and offered bathrooms, showers and a laundry space. The dog park was a great addition since we were traveling with our two French Bulldogs. Everyone was so nice and the check-in and out process was a breeze. An added bonus is the close proximity to everything in town while still feeling like you are outside of the hustle and bustle. It's also a short drive to the Black Canyon which was our main reason for visiting the area. We will be staying here again and highly recommend to anyone else!"
