"Dr Frey, PA T. Sanders, the nurses, receptionist, and even the medical records lady, are by far some of the best in terms of compassion and professionalism. Im youngish age(now30) and never treated in accordance to my injury and/or degree of suffering but instead treated in accordance to this preconcieved notion that people under age 50 would rather take pills and throw away their prime years as a father/husband. Age alone being the prerequisite to the necessary procedure. I was bluntly told on 5 different occasions 5 DIFFERENT surgeons they will not fix me because my age is considered high risk. Not as in high risk of negative procedural outcomes. High risk for narc abuse. Not based off me as an individual but as a generalization. Eventually I'd find out because I went to doctors within a small proximity(same city) the outcome would always be the same as the first surgeon(more concerned about offending their peers than the betterment of their patients) This discrimination finally stopped when I decided to travel to see the highly regarded DR GEORGE FREY and his team. For the first time I felt heard. He came out and said the (other surgeons) were undoubtedly showing prejudice because my condition was very obvious and there was an equally obvious solution. I'm still in the process of healing but am extremely hopeful for the future. I'm eternally grateful to Colorado Spine Institute."

Scott, the X-ray technician is professional and fun and a pleasure to talk to. Then there’s Madison , Thomas’s medical assistant and Thomas Sanders himself. These people are both wonderful. I never feel rushed, they listen and explain everything and make sure you understand. Madison always says Robert, call if you ever have any questions, when were leaving and she means it.
