"We had our son in Ms. Jane’s Music Together in Boulder class as a pre-walker and he really enjoyed it. That’s when we realized he had/got a good sense of rhythm and would rock and tap and shake with all the songs. When our son was 5.5 yo, we reconnected with her for private piano lessons, starting during the pandemic on Zoom for virtual lessons then to in-person masked lessons at her home which continue now. Our son looks forward to practicing daily and does it on his own and we’re about to have our first in-person recital (priors were virtual which he enjoyed but of course, different experience) which is exciting! As a former piano teacher myself, I like that not only lessons and repertoire with the Faber series are engaging but also child creativity to develop own songs and title and perform them is encouraged."
