"Had an excellent month at BoMA, taking Chapin Dimond's Level 1 Metalsmithing course on Thursday evenings! Chapin's class was great- clear instructions, tricks and tips for getting good results, and he kept it interesting and engaging for a mixed group of experience levels. Well done, and I look forward to more!"

"BOMA has been such a important part of my growth in Metalsmithing. I have always been very pleased with each instructor. I have taken classes with people that fly out from different states because they can’t find the skills and education that BOMA provides in their community. Because of BOMA and their brilliant instructors, I have set up a studio in my own home, something I never imagined I would do. I look forward to taking more classes. Thank you BOMA for your continued support and education."

"I took the intro metal smithing class with Chapin - he was great. Very patient and hepful. Unfortunately, I took the class when things got shut down in November due to Covid. Our last class got cancelled and we were told they would contact us all to reschedule it. This didn't happen. In January, I finally reached out to Beth, the Executive Director, who told me I could sit in on the last session of one of the upcoming classes. I thought it was weird that they said they would reach out and reschedule our class, they didn't, and then Beth had a snippy attitude about the whole thing. It could have been dealt with proactively - or at least with an apology. We are all dealing with the pandemic, a little customer service goes a long way!"

"Even given present circumstances where things are prone to change overnight they refuse to issue a refund within thirty days of a class. That policy is ridiculous in normal times, but particularly now given the pandemic. A nice studio and good instruction isn’t sufficient to counterbalance utterly inept management. Edit in response to owner reply: The cancellation policy is clear, I don’t dispute that whatsoever. The issue is that it’s an absurd policy in the first place. If you have so many cancellations that you’re imperiled financially by offering a refund that’s indicative of other problems. I understand your position, but it’s a senseless one."

"BoMA's studio is well-equipped, well-kept, and is a great place to do work on your projects. Classes provided through BoMA are top notch and the instructors are very willing to provide direction, new ideas, and help when necessary. Many instructors are local and some come from quite a distance which is due to BoMA's continuing relationships with these instructors. BoMA provides several choices for membership opportunities. Folks are friendly and it provides a much needed outlet for many as they have great tools and equipment available."
