He talked me through how they source locally where they can and I left with some extra local scratch grains for my flock that look great. They have some amazing looking wild bird feed too. "We have had chickens for going on three years now. We have also lived like 10 min from this place for three years too... and we didn't know it! We love going to feed stores for our chickens' feed and treats. But we thought the closest one was near Aspen Park. Weren't we pleasantly surprised! We got our chickens a new type of feed (made in Colorado as well!) And 5 lbs of homemade chicken scratch for way cheaper than Murdochs, Tractor Supply, or Big R! Plus, my chickens seem to love this Agland high protein feed way better than the Purina we have been getting from Murdochs. Another added benefit of shopping here is that it's all tax-free! The gentleman told me that's because it's considered agricultural. Plus, you can't beat small business customer service! The gentleman who helped us was super friendly and very informative. We have recommended this place to everyone with livestock or dogs living in the Lakewood, Belmar, or Denver area! Big box stores have NOTHING on this place! Shop local!"
