"I have had wonderful experiences with not only upper management but all employees at this Safeway. As Far is the previous one star review,,, Large grocery stores all over the metro area Have always kept their doors open for the 35 years that I've lived here. So I don't think it's fair to bash them because of that. Birds can be a nuisance And unsanitary"

"My review is primarily based on the pharmacy. It’s so refreshing to have a local pharmacist who knows your name and asks about your family. I feel like the quintessential neighborhood pharmacy where you are treated like family is not as common as it used to be, but this pharmacy embodies these communal ideals and has the utmost level of customer service. Keep it up and we appreciate you!"

"My experience today was rather sad. Jesus helped me in the seafood department. He was not particularly friendly. Seemed rather irretated that I distracted him from his other duties to get a couple thing out of the seafood case. One was King Crab legs. The price on the scale shown was way to high. Something like 54.- dollars for 3/4 of a pound. I made him aware of the discrepancy from the price tag. He was not apologetic, but rather grumpy and came up with an excuse. After he reentered the price my crab legs ended up being only 25.- dollars. A big difference. Not my fault, yet I had to indulge his grumpy service. :-( What happened to customer service? We all can make mistakes, but its how we deal with it and acknowledge it. Thank you"

"If you’re not used to it, the layout doesn’t seem to make sense. The signage doesn’t match, and their app makes it worse. I tried to find a box of crackers and one sign said 10, another said 13 and the app said Deli. I finally found them after walking around for 5 minutes. I prefer Kroger stores around my area, which is a total shift from where I grew up not far from here!"

"UPDATE::: So the upper management called me and pretended to be concerned and told me that all of the grocery stores keep their doors open!!!that’s funny because the Safeway in Boulder keeps their doors shut so only Boulder cares about the birds??? Once again, just corporate America lying to keep themselves looking good… i’m attaching a picture of the Safeway in Boulder so you can see for yourself that they keep their doors shut so if you need to shop at Safeway go to that one, but I would still go to a different grocery store, one that cares!!! If possible, avoid this store at all costs. They leave their main doors open whereas birds are swarming inside due to a broken directional fan blowing down that helps detour These birds from coming in, the birds are then unaware on how to get back outside because they have to fly super low to go around this big slab of concrete that runs across the doorway, so they are flying above it where the windows are. They are hitting the windows, flying around the store desperately trying to find a way back outside because their baby. Birds that are in the nests outside are calling for them . the management is not interested in fixing this fan that keeps the birds from flying in, or shutting the doors to keep the birds from flying in to a minimum. Sprouts, Trader Joe’s, Walmart, and alfalfa’s all keep their doors closed during the day. Why can’t Safeway do the same and try to help out the wildlife a little bit???? not OKAY!!!!!"
